Sorry for the lapse in blogging. I had the awful flu for a few months (it felt like it anyway) and it's been pretty quiet on the portrait front until this engagement session. Man, sometimes I really blow it-- first I was late (although I thought I was early until I realized I was late...hmmm...) then I had an equipment malfunction. But if I ever really blow it again I hope I do it with people as nice and as patient as these two. All in all, I am really happy with their portraits-- I mean how could I go wrong with people this good-looking? Thank you Ron and Lauren, I'm really looking forward to your wedding!

- Hello, Melissa here (I've been watching a lot of Burt and Ernie-- hopefully you'll catch the reference) thanks for visiting my blog! I have a pretty cool job. I love photography, it has so many possibilities for artistic expression, my biggest dilemma is sticking to a style. My other cool "job" is mom to my daughter Aysah (at the moment she is 16 months old and all of you were right, it goes by so quickly).
